Sarah Elliott

Certified Life Coach, Psychotherapist in Training & Fitness Instructor

Let me start by saying I never thought 5 years ago that this is where I would be, but hey, sometimes life’s greatest gifts are surprises! I had experienced therapy and I had had mentors at work but I needed something different to pull my sense of direction together and get me into a state of fulfilment with my career and with myself. But what I think it really came down to was being sick and tired of talking about this life I wanted. I searched out a coach to help me put my ideas and dreams into action and to help me start to actually walk the walk and after 8 months of working with my first coach, I decided that if I could enable someone to feel the way I did in that moment then I would be fulfilled. It was that simple: aligning my strengths and abilities that I liked about myself with a line of work that I didn't know existed a year prior. I had experienced such momentum in those 8 months, felt more sure of myself and where I was headed and that clarity gave me back so much time to then actually build that life and not just dream about it. I qualified as a life coach while working full time at a global healthcare company and teaching part time at Psycle, a boutique fitness studio in London (funny how you can "find" the time when you really want something), and then I created Vault, a company that would give people the same gift I was given: the time and space to create a dream, believe it to be true and start to live it.

3 years on, I have found that coaching is where I feel most alive. I have added different qualifications to my repertoire in order to best navigate my clients sessions, whether that be qualifying as a Mindfulness Meditation teacher or beginning my Masters in Psychotherapy. I integrate my learnings in a tactical approach to enable my clients getting into action so they can see their progress and feel their momentum but I also hold the space to deepen their understanding of themselves and the relationships in their life. I hope while reading this you have some sort of buzz in your body, a curiosity to explore what coaching could unlock and give you and I'll always come back to a simple yet resonating quote:

Not everyone needs a coach, but everyone deserves one.

What our clients say…

Working with Sarah as my life coach was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Sarah was able to help me gain clarity about what it is I truly want at this stage in my life and to define goals that excite and energise me. As an example, Sarah supported me in overcoming various hurdles with exercise and fitness after sustaining an injury in a way that felt effortless. I think one of Sarah's strongest qualities is her ability to guide you to find the answers yourself and empower you to go after what it is you want in life, big or small. I can't thank Sarah enough!

I knew within the first 5-minutes of speaking to Sarah that she was a person who would be extremely influential in my life. Her energy, charisma, support, and genuine desire to help other individuals discover what they are capable of is truly unparalleled; especially in a society where a constant stream of unrealistic expectations of reality via social media is spoon-fed to us and has become a constant distraction for so many individuals.

Sarah’s program is brilliant in that it is fundamentally based on YOUR goals and the things YOU desire (not what others may say you are needing or wanting). She is extremely skilled in helping you SELF-discover those goals while helping you weed out the white noise of insecurity and fear that may be preventing you from moving forward. Simply put, the insights and concepts I gained from working with Sarah have been invaluable. I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to work with such a talented, kind, and authentic coach to help me rediscover and redesign the path I want for my life.

Upon starting coaching with Sarah I had nothing really wrong but I knew I wanted something to change. I had got myself stuck in a bit of rut, particularly at work where everything just felt a bit meh. Sarah was unbelievable at helping me understand myself, work out what is important to me, what really made me tick and appreciate what I needed. With this we were then able to work together to develop better strategies to help me work towards my goals whether that be in work, relationships, spiritually or health & fitness.

Sarah enables you to discover what really matters, what you need to let go and how you can leap forward into your best life, where you belong!

Having found Sarah and embracing the chance to work with her has empowered me to open up my eyes and go down the self-exploration paths I never knew I could take or was too scared to take on my own.
Her presence and guidance can be felt unobtrusively yet giving that extra strength and reassurance.
Sarah’s support goes beyond the face to face/call sessions. She is always on a lookout and forwards any material that is relevant and helpful. Sarah has an inexhaustible range of skills, knowledge and positivity which never ceases to amaze me. It’s not every day you come across a person who can make you feel so safe and comfortable to share most gnawing thoughts and who leaves you feeling uplifted and with a clearer mind.

Sarah was born to be a coach. She is supportive, reflective, and has the most wonderful way of helping me to shape my (sometimes non-sensical) thoughts into a clear plan and structure. I love her energy, her emotional intelligence, and the overwhelming sense of calm that she brings to our conversations. My life is definitely brighter from having her in it.

Sarah is very upbeat and positive, from the get go she creates a calm and safe environment for you to speak about, well, anything. It really is all about you when you talk to her - you drive the direction of your conversation, set your goals or identify the challenges that you are facing, whist Sarah gives you her support and bespoke advise. She is attentive and very professional, she shows genuine curiosity without being intrusive and constantly makes you feel comfortable and at ease. She is very approachable and easy to talk to, which helps you open up. I found that with Sarah's guidance I was able to vocalise and pin down some of my worries or concerns which I couldn't put into words before, meaning we could come up with a tangible plan how to approach them. Similarly, she highlighted the positive things I was doing well, which I wouldn’t necessarily stop and notice myself.

Another thing that I loved about working with Sarah is that she really makes an effort to understand what your lifestyle/situation is like, and gives you a unique advise based on that, which totally makes sense- that way it definitely works fo you. Moreover, I went away from each session with a lot of takeaways (I call them homework!) that I could implement and work on afterwards, so Sarah’s work continues even after the session is over.

I hope to continue working with Sarah, since I’ve started putting into action some things we spoke about, I already saw a great impact - I feel much happier, calmer and live in the moment. Very grateful for Sarah’s work with me, an incredible life coach who will help you get to where you want to be.
